Part-Time Student Enrollment
Our Part-Time Student Program makes National Connections Academy’s more than 400 courses available to any student in grades K–12. Our Learning Management System® (LMS) allows families to access coursework and communicate, plan, learn, and track performance from anywhere with an Internet connection.
Better yet, our flexible scheduling lets students choose when during the day each day’s lessons and assignments will be completed—so students are free to pursue other activities while still completing the course(s) needed.
Through National Connections Academy’s innovative methods and curriculum, part-time students can experience the freedom and flexibility of our online learning community from anywhere in the country. Students seeking flexible learning opportunities in a unique, self-paced environment with engaging and rich curriculum can choose to:
- Explore subjects unavailable at local schools like Advanced Placement, gifted and honors courses, and a wide range of foreign language courses. Solve a scheduling problem if a particular course is not available at a convenient time or during the summer from the local school.
- Gain additional course credits to either accelerate or get back on track.
- Strengthen skills in core subjects.
- Engage in an online learning environment for the first time.
Part-time students receive the same high quality course materials in Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School classes, access to our Learning Management System® features, and expert instruction from experienced teachers as our full-time students. Part-time students can also utilize the expertise of National Connections Academy academic advisors in selecting appropriate courses to ensure that the needs of each student are met through our expansive and diverse course catalogue.
Summer School
Registration for Summer School 2010 is now open. Students enrolling in National Connections Academy Summer School have unprecedented freedom about when and where to “attend” class during the summer months. We offer high-quality summer school courses for students in grades K–12 who would like to accelerate studies over the summer, need to make up high school credits, or want to retain knowledge over the summer break.
