Experience Freedom in Summer School
We are pleased to offer an extensive number of online Summer School courses for all grades. Our Summer School courses deliver a full semester’s worth of instruction over an intensive four week session. Students can choose to take our courses to make up credits, get ahead, or minimize summer learning loss. Summer school offerings include K–8 Summer Smarts courses and high school credit recovery and enrichment courses.
Flexibility and Opportunity
National Connections Academy Summer School courses are ideal for students seeking flexible learning opportunities in a unique, self-paced environment with engaging and rich curriculum can choose to:
- Explore subjects unavailable at local schools.
- Solve a scheduling problem if a particular course is not available during the summer from the local school.
- Gain additional course credits to either accelerate or get back on track.
- Strengthen skills in core subjects.
- Fight summer learning loss.
- Engage in an online learning environment for the first time.

Summer School 2010 Course Offerings
- K-8 Summer Smarts: These courses help keep the students engaged and active during the summer months and minimize summer learning loss.
- High School Summer Courses: These courses are ideal for students who need to make up the course to meet graduation requirements or who wish to accelerate their high school career.
Due to the intensive nature of the summer program, National Connections Academy will not enroll students in a summer course after the registration deadline.
While our students will complete the equivalent of approximately 4 hours of work a day; 5 days a week for the duration of the course, they have the freedom to “attend” class when and where it works best for their schedules. Our Learning Management System (LMS) allows families to access their courser and communicate, plan, learn, and track performance from anywhere with an Internet connection. Better yet, our flexible scheduling lets students choose when during the day they complete each day’s lessons and assignments—so students are free to pursue other activities while still completing needed courses!
