Experience Freedom in Summer School

Our Summer School courses deliver a full semester’s worth of instruction over an intensive four week session so students can get the credits they need to catch up or get ahead. 2010 summer school offerings include K–8 Summer Smarts courses and high school credit recovery and enrichment courses.

  • Session I:  June 1–28
    Registration Deadline: May 26, 2010
  • Session II:  July 6–August  2
    Registration Deadline: June 30, 2010

Due to the intensive nature of the summer program, National Connections Academy will not enroll students in a summer course after the course has started.

 

While our students will complete the equivalent of approximately 4 hours of work a day; 5 days a week for the duration of the course, they have the freedom to “attend” class when and where it works best for their schedules. Our Learning Management System (LMS) allows families to access their courser and communicate, plan, learn, and track performance from anywhere with an Internet connection. Better yet, our flexible scheduling lets students choose when during the day they complete each day’s lessons and assignments—so students are free to pursue other activities while still completing needed courses!

Summer School 2010 Course Offerings

K-8 Summer Smarts

These courses help keep the student's mind engaged and active during the summer months and minimize summer learning loss with review of math and language arts.  Included with any course are hundreds of our ShowHow© simulations, designed to help students master a wide range of computer skills. Tuition is $125 per course.

High School Credit Recovery Courses

These courses are for students who have already taken the course, were not granted credit for the course, and need to make up the course to meet graduation requirements. Tuition is $275 per course.

High School Enrichment Courses

These courses are for students who wish to accelerate their upper school career or simply continue their studies over the summer. Tuition is $325 per course.
